Episode 14 - A Latte Coffee
Episode 14:
Bonjour! Welcome to Coffee Talk with King Francois I, episode fourteen, A Latte Coffee. As the title of this episode suggests, we are going to delve into one of the important themes of this podcast, coffee. Now, I realize that this podcast’s main focus is on the discovery of the tales, trials, and talents of Renaissance Festival performers, merchants, staff, and diehard patrons, with a smattering of helpful Ren Faire oriented installments. That said, you will recall in episode nine where I interviewed myself, me conversing with me as King Francois I, I shared that coffee is almost the lifeblood of rennies, performers, cast, and patrons. And a great many of us start our Festival days with coffee. So, it seemed to be a great pairing for a podcast. The conversations shared in the episodes essentially take place with a cup of coffee in hand, beginning with a brief chat about coffee before making our way into more Ren Faire related topics. Therefore, I thought it would be beneficial to discover a bit more about this much beloved beverage.
In these episodes where I tend to do most, if not all the talking, I am adding a new segment. It will follow the format of the included response I received from a fellow cast member and friend, Chris Siebert, where he shares his coffee preferences and a favorite Ren Faire experience story. So, grab a cup of your favorite java, sit back, and enjoy this episode of Coffee Talk with King Francois I.
